What is Worship?¿

 There are different views and opinions of what worship is. Worship could mean different things to different people .

Just take note of these few definitions and put it into use.

Worship is beyond the usual worship session at Churches. Worship is beyond the spiritual songs we sing in churches, fellowship centres, at gatherings etc.

Worship is beyond the "deep" lyrics/tongues of songs/ chants.

Revelation 4:10 "the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives for ever and ever. They(the twenty-four elders) lay their crowns before the throne".

From the scripture above, humility is presented. Worship comes from a place of humility; where we lay our crowns before the throne of God. We lay it all before Him(God)...all our burdens, the things we count necessary and unnecessary, the things that seem irreversible, our achievements, wins and breakthrough..even at His feet.

Worship works alongside with Humility, when we don't feel too high/big to praise or reference God. We don't care about our stance, status, people watching. All we care about is to give God the glory.

John 3:30 "He must increase, but I must decrease."

It always baffles me when I see growing business owners acting nonchalant towards the promotion of their enterprise......
