hopeFULL.

 Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV

[11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Some days ago, at the dining table, my younger brother made a comment which he considered 'random' but it really wasn't.  He mentioned the fact that people's dreams die or get washed away due to the poor economic status of the country—He even referred to his own dreams not becoming reality, during this not-so-random observation.

Those words clung to my heart and kept resounding in my ears. I was bitter, not at what he said or the economic status of the country...but I was weeping on the inside and outside, because a 12 year old was already suffering from a "no hope" syndrome.

This story is already looking long. But I'll continue, anyways.😭

That night, I encountered so much unrest. I began to pray for this growing man, using him as a point of contact to every other person who is going through this same syndrome I referred to earlier.

But God told me "it doesn't stop there, you have to teach him." Romans 10:14(c) TPT "And how can they hear the message of life if there is no one there to proclaim it"

I called him, told him to open up reassuring and reminding scriptures of God's promise.

Jeremiah 1:5 AMP

[5] “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument], And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV

[11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Taught him to see God as his future and his hope. Same thing to you reading this.....

Circumstances do not define you. The good Lord knew you before the doctors knew that you were a male/female baby inside the womb. Your Life is in the hands of God, not in the hands of a government or institution. Your present and future is determined and kept by God.

Do not be discouraged!❤️

After what felt like an hour of talk with my lil brother, I rounded off with teaching him the power of confessing God's word into your life. Right there, He confessed God's Words into his life.

Cultivate the culture of confessing hope to fill up your life.❤️
